Entrepreneurship runs in my blood. My great-grandfather founded Vick Ranch, which was later passed down to my grandfather, who grew it into a thriving cattle operation and launched multiple other businesses in Stephens County. My mom followed suit—successfully running several businesses of her own—and today, many of my family members, including my sister and brother-in-law, continue that legacy.

I was raised in a world where grit, independence, and hard work weren’t just values—they were a way of life. I learned early that you build your future with your own two hands—and that mindset still fuels everything I do at Marka & Co.

I’ve carried that legacy forward. For the past 20 years, I’ve owned and helped operate multiple businesses alongside my little family— so when I say I understand the reality of hard work, I mean it.
